Hey ,
I just a new 2nd generation ama and lako for my older Scorpious XS and nothing really fits. 1st the front lako was to long to fit into the hull so with advice I cut off 1.5 " @ 30 deg. That worked great but now neither front or rear will fit into the Ama and hull at the same time. The angles seem to be off a bit and the pin holes don't line up . Anyone else have similar issues ?

Are the iako from the same manufacturer as the canoe. I’ve had problems interchanging Maui and ozone components.

If you have a Maui built XS it won't fit exactly right. Do you know if it Ozone Built or Maui Built? You should call Kai, find the number here: https://www.kaiwaa.com/

I have an Ozone built XM and ordered a custom Maui ama and iakos way back when. This was probably 3 years go. Everything fit fine. There is a difference in the push pins; the Maui boats have pins that are slightly smaller. Other than that, it worked no problems.
