This past weekend the Waikiki Beach Boys made history winning the over all regatta for the day being the first time in the clubs history and a real feat being such a small club without a kids program. The mens program has taken off with the help of some great coaching and an over all interest from the men to put in the time to train to win…As a club we hope to enter both a womens and mans program that are both considered strong in the distance season, we have way to go but feel it is possible within the next few years…A few of our members were disturbed that we did not get enough press coverage so I just wanted to put this out there for anyone who did not know…Aloha Eddie

Congratulations Eddie and BBCC Coach and members, i am a Manu o ke Kai member and i know how hard is to win a regatta, Kaneohe had the monopoly for quite some time, and again, to do it with only 18 entries…..very impresive.
nevermind the press coverage, just keep working hard, cause in states the press wont help you beat those under 7 minutes miles……………….
Aloha!
