Burton Molokai Surf Ski

Item Description:

The surf ski is a Burton Molokai glass ski made in South Africa. It is a marathon style ski for an intermediate to advanced level. It is 19’ 6”long. The ski is good for someone 5’8” to 6’0”. My inseam is 30. It is in extremely good condition.

I bought the ski when I lived in CA and thought I would use it here in CO when I moved. Hasn’t happened. This ski is great for anyone wanting to get some serious training and or racing.

The ski is $750. This is a great price for the ski and does not include shipping. Estimated shipping to CA is $300

NJ Kayak is runing & hosting our second annual “Barnegat Bay Kayak Challenge” Sun. Oct. 7th, Columbus Day Weekend. We have a division for outrigger canoes & surf skis. Please check our web site for further details & maps. Our location on Barnegat Bay is ideal for a race.
Last year 25 participants had a great time on a beautiful fall day & this year we expect more participants. There is early registration of $25 & day of $30. I have owned an outrigger canoe for some time and would love to see them here on Barnegat Bay.

The Hoewa’a Canoe Club is actually the 3rd outrigger canoe club in Texas and the 1st in North Texas.
We are a competetive club that also races out of state as well as in Houston and Austin where our sister clubs are located. The club is open to anyone and everyone from beginner to competetive.
We have about 25 members currently and are on a membership drive 365 days of the year. We practice and race on Lake Ray Hubbard in Rowlett, Tx.
The map coordinates is where we hold our races, but we practice on the other side of the highway. If you would like to come out and practice with us some time, just contact us fromt he website and we will make arrangements with you.

Saturday, September 23, 2006, come join PRCC and CORA for what is possibly the longest single-day outrigger race in North America: the 7th Annual Length of the Lake Ultrapaddle. 100km of downwind paddling the length of beautiful Okanagan Lake in the interior of British Columbia, Canada. This is a beach side change race with 5 legs. Traditionally a mixed OC-6 race, we have lately been welcoming more and more small boats, for both the relay, and even some iron participants! Bring two crews for every canoe! It’s definitely a race you must experience at least once in your life!
