My wife and I started our wonderful outrigger tour business last year in beautiful Vava’u, Tonga in the South Pacific. This is an amazing place to live and perfect for these tours, but sadly we must return to other business commitments in Australia and delay our semi-retirement a few more years. That’s the bad news for us.
The good news for anyone who loves paddling is that our business is for sale. We’ve done all the hard work setting it up and marketing it around the world. We’ve got the outriggers, the power boat, the van, and all the camping equipment you would need, but we’re not going to be here to enjoy it all.
If you’re ready to semi-retire in paradise, or even live here and run outrigger tours for 4 months during the popular whaleswimming season, and go home for the remaining 8 months, this is the perfect option. And it’s very affordable. To walk in and take over, including all the assets, is just US$59,750. And as for living here, there aren’t many places left in the world you can have a piece of a tropical island with a beach for around US$10,000!

One of only two clubs in Papua New Guinea (the sport is only 4 years old here), we’re keen to grow the sport and share the rich culture and tradition of va’a with other people, all the while incorporating our own unique Papua New Guinean canoeing culture..
