Murray dominates the second Budlight warm up race May 12, 2006!

First, a big mahalo to Budlight (Bae, Steven, and James) for their $1500 in cash prizes for the 2 warm up races. Paddlers had a chance to stand out individually before Saturday’s relay race. Mahalo to Jimmy Ledward and Sharky Aguilar for escorting and Tom Bartlett’s gang for keeping time.

Perfect surfing conditions and spectacular scenery treated early arrivals to a great run in 15-20 knot trade winds. The course was Kalihiwai Bay to Haena along Kauai’s beautiful north shore.
