And make sure everybody comes for Manu o ke Kai's one man race next Saturday July 26th from sunset to haleiwa! Shoots!
Female paddler looking to join a competitive 50 masters crew to race with in Pailolo and Na Wahine O Ke Kai.
Kauai resistant, open age group
Yesterday my dad set out the new gunnels for Honolulu Pearls canoe that he had been rebuilding for the past couple of years. Putting on the gunnels is one of the last steps before painting. When he got back to his place, he realized that someone had stolen all the Koa that he laid out. This is the canoe that picked up the wave at the end of the novice race in the Nanakuli regatta and crashed onto the beach. It basically blew apart. Koa canoes are what our ancestors used to fish, travel, play, etc. in. It’s part of our heritage and where we come from culturley in Hawaii.

If after watching this years Solo you think maybe you'd like to start padding V1…. assuming that paddling a V1 is part of what makes the Tahitians so fast. Then now is a good time to get one… If there is enough interest I will organize another shipment of Tahitian V1's or V3's from Tahiti to Hawaii. (Can also send to West Coast if more demand than Hawaii).
Prices should be similar to last container of Fai3's, ARE and TIMI's we brought in:
$4900 for Carbon
$3900 Sglass
$2900 for hand lay up fiberglass
V3 hand lay up $6,500
Includes shipping to Hawaii.
Hows that for a women's race this year? Strong field, record numbers. Fun to watch!
