If you are interested in watching Ryan at Olympic trials today check out the live feed. Ryan can seal his seat for the 2012 Olympics today by winning the K-1 200m. Cheer for Ryan to qualify or you will have to race him in regatta season. His heat is at 9:00am Hawaii time, and I believe the final is at 1:00pm Hawaii time. I counted 22 women on Manny's emailed participant list for this year.
Since I have been doing the race the field has been much smaller:
2011 - 12
2010 - 10
2009 - 13
Anybody who has been doing this longer than me know if this is the largest field of women ever entered in the Solo?
D.T. Flemings Beach, West Side Maui to Kaunakakai Harbor, Molokai 26 Miles.

Anyone think Pat Dolan can be beat in any conditions?? I know every dog can have his day but the odds have to be heavily in his favor.
Does anybody know what the current rates are for renting a canoe (oc1/ski) for the Molokai solo and also what to expect for the Maui to Molokai (Pailolo channel race)? Shipping cost not included.
Mahalo.
Need a lash on style Tahitian ama for a Bernadino made V-1. As far as I know all tahitian ama are interchangeable.
