Ryan Dolan tops the year at Cold Pack Classic

Held on Saturday Dec. 15 in 20-25 mph winds off Lanikai beach, the 15th annual Lanikai Coldpack Classic was dominated by youth. In the Men’s OC-1 event, 17 year old Ryan Dolan held off 18 year old Jack Roney with a time of 40:55 to capture the 15 annual event and earn the dunk in the canoe cooler. The course started off the beach heading towards Waimanalo for about a mile, where the field took a left turn and out to sea behind the Mokulua islands where the ocean was wild.
