Welcome Aboard To Me,

Well, here I am. Cheston Apua Young, a novice paddler for Kikaha O Ke Kai Outrigger Canoe Club, out of Federal Way, Washington. People call me by my Hawaiian name "Apua," which means "Fisherman," in the Hawaiian language. I started paddling last year in May. I went to 5 practices and discontinued for work related reasons, then started back up at the beginning of this year's paddling season. I am currently unemployed and my girlfriend and I are expecting our first child together. We are expecting a baby boy, who at this time, doesn't have a name. She left that decision up to me, but I am slacking with this responsibility that's lingering above my head. Our son's not due till August 5th, but recently after spending 3 days in the hospital, the doctor broke the news that she could be delivering at anytime. This just kinda put us both in a predicament. She's on bed rest and I"m not my usual self. I can say that I am very much happy though. The girl that I am very much in LOVE with, is having my child. How much happier can a person get. I'm excited and at the same time scared because my son's being stubborn and wants out of his mommy. All we can do is pretty much, obey the doctor and be on bed rest. N E Ways, gotta go. Latas
