When I purchased the canoe for my daughter, the yakos had a really bad repair job and eventually broke into 2 peices. They need to be replaced, not repaired. John Martin, Outrigger Connection, as well as the guy at Sand Island, both said it would cost approximately $175 to $200 for a new set.Outrigger Connection may have used ones for less. Rebuilt Malia hull with left side motor mount. Set upas a coaching boat, but can be converted to a sailing hull with some modifications. Very unsinkable with 5 compartment construction. No ama or iako.
