Our VOS photographer, Ryan Thompson, has edited/sorted and categorized the many pics he took the weekend of our Chasedown event. If you are interested in a 10 X 13 300dpi edited pic (with or without logo) please email us at vosoutrigger@gmail.com for an order. Costs will be $10 ea. or 2 for $15 or 4 for $20. If there is a different size you would like to order let us know and we’ll see what we can work out. Ryan can edit the pics even further from what you see in the Flikr account and can include the Chasedown logo (or not) in a vertical or horizontal layout.
For those not familar with our event we invite you to mark this down for our next one. It's not your normal race format. Crews all head out together but do one 10km course (includes several turns) and beach the canoes at the Maritime Museum, the last crew in does not stop but continues onto to the next 10km leg of the race followed by the previous crew and so on...until the fastest crew heads out in last position (intervals are roughly 30-60 seconds). Hence the Chasedown. Both laps minus the wait time are added together for your final time. This event includes our famous BBQ wild salmon meal with all the fixings and we have a bar. We can assist with canoes for out of town teams. This event is held in the beautiful scenic English Bay waters of Vancouver.
