KAUAI HOE WAA is an outrigger canoe racing association affiliated with the YMCA. It is located on the island of Kauai, Hawaii. Its purpose is to promote outrigger canoe paddling and ocean racing. Kauai Hoe Waa hosts ten events each season for OC-1, OC-2, Surfski and Stand-up (SUP) paddlers, including the KAUAI WORLD CHALLENGE, a 34 mile international outrigger canoe relay race off the coast of Kauai.
