Anyone have any stories about the race yesterday, or from past Duke races? Scary huli off of Makapuu? Classic finishes? Great battles along the way? Epic surfing? Anyone have opinions on the DQs for OCC and LCC yesterday? Didn't think that was fair at all (dq'ing them).

Poignant and most memorable moment of yesterday's race for me - Holding off the back pack until Hanauma Bay, and for all of 5 minutes, getting to paddle head to head with those guys. Second would be the the surfing legs in front of Sandy's and a little before Black Point. Beats the washing machine behind Makapuu point.
