Seahawk from Te Whare Waka. Like its owner, old, heavy and cracking at the seams. A for the last year a mid-life crisis caused the purchase of a Pegasus

Just finding time to get out and have a run now and then is enough. One day I'd like to win something tho' :-)

Water polo, swimming, surfing and paddling. Love to travel to enjoy my activities. Spend as much time as I can in Kona, Hawaii where my family is from.

I work as a construction defect consultant in the East Bay, general contractor for 20+ yrs, raised 3 beautiful adult kids, enjoy 7 grandkiddos, have great friends and family, love being a part of a team!
My competitive background in the aquatic realm was swimming and water polo. Learned to swim at age 2 in Hawaii, swam for the Santa Clara Swim Club, earned a swimming/Water polo scholarship to UC Berkeley, competed 4 years in both sports, all American in both sports and won 3 NCAA Championships in Water Polo at Cal. Very proud of my Hawaiian ancestry, which I truly believe has given me the courage to become the waterman I am. I am a movie nut, love any activity near water, love BBQs and cold beers. Love to travel and visit with friends. We always talk story of how much better we were "back then" then what we really were! LOL....but I always love to talk to my friends children who don't know their "father" like I did in college. I speak well of all my teammates and it makes their children appreciate their father a little bit more! :) and it is all true!!
