2014 Hawaiian Airlines Liberty Challenge
Congratulations to all the crews who competed in the 18th annual Hawaiian Airlines Liberty Challenge!
Kauai Hoe Wa'a Island Championships.
Congrats to all of the paddlers that came out to race the Island Championships. Conditions were Epic! Record breaking times were set. Bobby Pratt of Oahu took winning honors this day with Makana Denton, Luke Evslin an Mark Fraizer hot on his trail. Kristin Foster Simpon took 1st in the womens division with Noe Sawyer in 2nd an Lauren Denton taking 3rd. For full results use webscorer links below. Next race Kauai World Challenge On May 3rd.

Mahalos everyone that came out to the race. Great too see all the SUP, Prone an Surfski paddlers too. Conditions was really good with the return of the trade winds an big ocean swells. Made it a fun fast race. Getting out of Anini beach channel was nuts but everyone made it out safely. Next race is Island Champs on April 13 Anahola to Hanalei Pier. Short course Anini beach park to Hanalei pier. Then its KAUAI WORLD CHALLENGE (MAY 3rd) registrations open on line. Www.kauaihoewaa.org.
