I was actually so thrilled about this expansion that I broke down and also upgraded my computer (my built in graphics card was out paced by Pets). It was really fun at first however I was dissatisfied that the dive options are so limited. With only 4 dive lots I completed all of them the first night so certainly there is very little left to do but find a seahorse and discover all of the hidden islands. There was so much potential for new harvestables and gems (pearls would have been nice) in the tropical setting however none were actually added. The capability to have pictures underwater and also an underwater photo collection would have been awesome! I'm likewise not a fan of the claustrophobic worlds in which certainly there is no room to build; this one for obvious reasons is mostly water but the land that does exist is either dramatically elevated or already taken so certainly there is no place to put any of the Late Night or Ambitions lots. Because none of the eternities have dive lots I had to move my sims to Isla Paradiso and will then have to move them back to one more world to enjoy the rest of the video game features. Lastly I HATE the sharks! I have an irrational fear of them to begin with and never knowing when they are heading to pop up is very disconcerting!

On the plus side the lighting results while underwater are amazing! I also like the new sea life and shell collections and also building house boats is actually quite a nice addition. I just don't think I'm going to get as much long term game play out of this as I expected.
This video game is a great deal fun! the only thing is some of the land you can build on is slopped, and so that creates placing walls and what certainly not a little hard. however there are ways around that. I love that you can have a house boat, and that you can dive and swim with sharks and get beaten up by the sharks.
This is actually a good expansion however the new town takes forever to get around. I need to send my sims kids about an hour before school starts if they are out the main island. I would certainly have thought that maybe the island paradise town would certainly be a vacation spot or something, In my opinion you should be allowed to have houses in more then one town. I am not able to update other towns so that my sims can dive in the ocean because of my computer having bad graphics makings it hard to navigate under water. I have yet to see the Kraken.
