Watching Much Too Much TV

As of youth certainly one of the most popular hobbies would have been to watch television. I never made many friends so activating the T.V required into distant locations where provided me with comfort. However, as I begun to collect a social life and spend more time outdoors I quickly became overwhelmed with all the notion of getting together with others. Breaking from the shy shell that I placed myself in become very difficult. T.V would have been a mere substitute for an actuality I did not know how to face. Now, like a twenty six years old which has a family of my personal I have a lots of concern towards what my children will likely be watching on T.V.
Growing up watching shows like Tom & Jerry and Beavis & Buthead can confuse a youngster. The random violent acts can lead a youngster to feel or care less about hurting someone. Sure, all adults don't outwardly inflict pain unto others, but perhaps these television shows affect each individual differently. Imagine how two siblings born and raised by the same parents equally could grow to get the complete opposites of each other. We live in a society where mankind is composed with multiple kinds of personality. The way a mind can perceive details are spread based upon unlimited factors through which we all uniquely posses. So if someone watches a criminal murdering someone on T.V, even when it is acting there is no guarantee towards what how a action itself will make them feel.
Entertainment has exploded and practically addresses all types of issue known. Topics including homicide, drugs, gossip, sex and so on parade the channels in numerous ways. As a parent I understand now how important it can be to instruct children the truth behind sun and rain which can be daily displayed on T.V. Children look up to their parents for help and comfort. Restrictions and enforcement will be the necessary main components that transform average adults into great parents.
