Keehi Ironman Challenge

OC-6 Iron Race to be held on Saturday, 10/3/09 from Hawaii Kai to Keehi Lagoon (16 miles). Men/women/mixed crew categories. $240/crew pre-registration 10/1 & 10/2 from 4-7 pm at Keehi Lagoon Halau, $350/crew race-day registration. 1st 30 registered crews guaranteed t-shirts. Format: OC-6 Iron (Races will be run by age-groups, not gender)
Date: Saturday, October 3 (Pre-registration: Thursday and Friday October 1st and 2nd from 4 pm to 7 pm at Keehi Lagoon Halau)
Time: First Crews (60’s and 55’s) Start 8:30 a.m. Second Heat (50’s and 40’s) start 10 minutes later. Open crews start 10 minutes after that.
Cost: $240 per crew (pre-registration) $350 day of race (Entry includes lunch, entertainment, “beverages” and medals)
Categories: Men, Women, Mixed by age groups (60+, 55+, 50+, 40+, Open)
Trophy to first crew in each category (Men, Women, Mixed) crossing the finish line (regardless of age group or gender). Medals to first three finishers in each category. T shirts guaranteed to first 30 registered crews.
Coaches Meeting at 8:00 am. HCRA Waiver required for all participants.
