Cold Pack Classic Update

The 20th Annual Lanikai Cold Pack Classic will be held as scheduled. The trade winds and east swell is nuking, but nothing stops the Cold Pack. We will, however, probably adjust the course to run inside the reef so nobody loses boats or body. Most likely the long course will shift to a buoy inside Bellows reef and back to the LCC paddling site. The kids race will need adults to help get the boats to the upwind side of the beach and the keiki will race one way, back to the site, with the wind mostly at their rear, and ama downwind.

Prizes: MAUI JIM has donated 4 pairs of sunglasses which will be randomly awarded at the awards and lunch after the race. Plus ISLAND SNOW has generously given SHAVE ICE certificates to all the keiki participants, and some T shirt certificates. There are also a bunch of Oiwi racing shirts, some Hinano gear and random other giveaways.
