Chris Maynard was first across the line but there's a delay in posting the official results. Will post when they're released.

Cheers.

#8 Sun, 12/20/2009 - 11:40am

Pat Dolan was paddling the XM finished second.

#9 Mon, 12/21/2009 - 8:53pm

Clarkie,
stop pushing the xm bandwagon Slug came second on a borrowed Pueo, ( hes now converted) Pat came second in the long course the day before.

#10 Mon, 12/21/2009 - 11:17pm

Just cause your Pueo looks like a patchwork quilt there is no need to get Narky Kevin, I was referring to the long course! I'll stop pushing the XM when you drop the Pueo, didn't your best mate want to trade his Pueo for my XM and a wad of cash.......................

Can someone explain how the race format is structured for the AOCRA National OC1/2 Marathon Title race?

So is the results posted by Hasto (25km) the long or short course? Is this part of a series of races that last throughout a season like the Pa'a and Kanaka Ikaika race series or is this a one time annual championship deal?

#13 Tue, 12/22/2009 - 11:13am

Two National Races, short course 12k and long course 25k both downwind.

Each state has it's own State Titles as well as their own Series Races, anyone can enter the Nationals, no qualifying.

The video i posted is the short course, long course is still being edited (very busy)
Kam, thanks for your interest in our races.
Cheers Rambo

kamamakakaua
It was our annual National OC1/2 Championships contested by competitors from all over the country with a few 'special guests' invited.
There are 2 main races - Long Course (25km or about 15.5 miles) and a Short Course (12km or about 7.5 miles).
The results posted were for the Long Course race.
The Nationals are the culmination of the race series run in each Zone (NSW, QLD, VIC etc) throughout the OC1 season. Each Zone runs their series of races including a Zone Championship then those that want to then go on to compete in the Nationals.
Hope this help.
Cheers & Merry Christmas to all.
