I went and saved you the trouble in finding the results. It was in your island paper sports section that said
" Great Waikoloa race results. "
I noticed that Kai Opua open women had beaten all the mixed crews in that race. What is your theory on that?

did you notice kai o pua open women time is faster than livestrong time, that training is really starting to pay off

you should know that the mens race was much longer. the gps on the livestrong boat read 16 miles when finished.
the womens race was around 10-12 miles. the women started when the conditions were not nearly as white capped.
the men got the luxury of paddling the long stretch south into white capped head winds. (small craft advisory).
you really think the women were faster??

Is Livestrong made up of Keauhou paddlers that were with Keauhou during regatta season? From the way things were shaping up during regatta season in the open men, it seemed that Keauhou were a name to watch for. Who stayed and who left?

Good point on the length and conditions when the men went out. They told us the race was going to be 12 miles, so if Livestrongs' GPS read 16 miles, they were definitely fastest time of the day. If the womens race was 12 miles Livestrong would have been done in about 1:17:00 or faster since the conditions were not as extreme.

Anyone know if we are going to see the full results posted here? It was a nice day at Waikoloa with a lot of canoes on the water. Hope we see the results for all the crews.
