Primo won, then OCC, Hui Lanakila and a great showing by Hui Nalu in their season debut taking 4th.

No word on times or margin of victory for Primo.

congrats to Team Primo. Wouldn't it be great if all the different breweries have their own team...my pick would be Team Mehana from the Big Island.

I think the guys on the team are:
Mike Peterson
Mike Judd
KAi BArtlett
Kekoa Cramer
Mael Carey
Peter Konohia
Tyson Kubo
Alfred Van Geison
Danny Ching when on island
I think one more guy from Maui - Felipe Gomes?

I heard they came in around 7 minutes ahead of the next canoe. Wow- pretty good - and most of these guys have family and work. Each one of these guys are terrific paddlers!

Congrats to team Primo. They will be competitive force in the Molokai with the tahitians. Must be nice to have the pick the U.S. as most club teams have rely only on paddlers within there membership.

Hey Mojo...live with it! Today to be competitive, it is almost...I said almost, impossible to stay within your club and be competitive. Outrigger/Lanikai...Kailua too... pretty much stay within, but it is becoming harder each year. Besides, try looking at a clubs roster during the regatta season, then try looking at their roster in the long distance season...I would bet that a few 'ringers' all of sudden shows up. But, just because they are paddling under a clubs name, that doesn't mean that there was no 'dial a crew' going on within the established clubs.

The Primo gang is primarily Kai, his Maui friends that used to all belong to Hawaiian CC, Scorpius team rider like Whale Rider Judd, and if can get Danny Ching on your side, why not use him. MP, former teammate from Lanikai who is still one hell of a stroker. Big question now is with the Scorpius XM on the market, will the Pueo riders that paddle for Primo now jump to the XM?? The XM making waves and everyone that has tried it, love it. One man season right around the corner.

Oh yeah, Shell will beat Primo and everyone else...by at least 10 minutes. That is my guess. The road to the World Championship of Outrigger paddling goes through Tahiti.

JawsOut.
