I wanted to let you know the Molokai Hoe TV special will start to air this coming Sunday night (10-25-09) at 7:00pm Hawaii time on channel OC-16.
Out of state can watch it live at http://www.oc16.tv
The show will air several times during the following week. Check your local TV listings.

Just as an FYI, Our NOV show will feature some highlights you havent seen on both the Na wahine and Molokai hoe races:)

Is Saturday night the only night to watch online or will it be online with the replays throughout the week?

Should be streaming online the same time they replay them on OC 16. At least everytime I see what they have on TV, they have streaming (with a small time delay) online.

Squatty, The show starts on SUNDAY, at 7:00pm Hawaii time, There is another replay on Monday at 12:00pm Hawaii time on local channel OC16, the mainland folks should like that!. You can also watch it live at http://www.oc16.TV.

It would be nice to see more of all crews entered. 25 minutes of shell and primo is cool if u didn't paddle and just wanna see good paddling. But most people wanna see themselves paddling in their favorite or memorable race.

Oops, (duh) I meant to say Sunday. Thank you for the info. I'm on the mainland so will have to try and catch it online. I didn't realize the show was only 30 minutes.

Well done, gang! This was a much better show than in the years when the network did it. Excellent footage, especially of Shell. Their timing and precision is incredible to watch.

No comments to make about the program. I am just glad that it is still going.
However, unlike many others out there, I am totally into watching the big dogs paddle. With that said, have you guys considered putting together a DVD with just the big dogs battling it out? In part of the show Kala'i mentioned that Shell was putting on a 'Surfing Clinic"...yet all we got was maybe 10-15 seconds of them flying. I would pay for a DVD showing all those top dogs surfing, and paddling....30 minutes worth.

I keep missing the program. Looks like today was the last airing. Anyone know if I can get DVD or is there somewhere else to watch/download it?

Yeah, video was awesome and all encompassing. Kala'i looked great and the OC16 production crew where all over this race. I'm a bit confused though, did he say there was 100+ crews involved?
