And there is the Coast Guard Memorial race on Sunday, Nov 1st... It's a Hawaii Kai run as well. Which one to do????

Looks like a full weekend, please help support the Coast Guard race on Sunday as well, last year there was a huge turn-out and we raised good money for the families of our lost Guardians. It is a great cause and will be a well planned race this year. Look forward to seeing everyone out there!!

mahalo for the heads up on the parking situation - and just so others don't miss it in the sheer excitement of seeing all the custumes, this comes straight from PA'A. Would hate to come back to car to see a ticket...

PARKING: PLEASE DO NOT DOUBLE PARK YOUR VEHICLE OR PARK OUT OF REGULAR PARKING STALLS AT THE HAWAII KAI BOAT RAMP! THAT INCLUDES NO PARKING IN BOAT TRAILER STALLS! YOU MAY PARK ON THE DIRT AREA BUT NOT THE GRASS.

IF WE DO NOT CONFORM TO PARKING REGULATIONS, WE WILL LOSE OUR PRIVELAGE TO HOLD RACES FROM THE MAUNALUA BAY AREA. A DLNR OFFICER WILL BE HANDING OUT TICKETS.

It is important for paddlers to pre-register so that we can get a head count of how many to prepare lunch for.

There have been a few questions regarding the costumes. Mostly everyone will be dressed but it is not required to race. This is just a fun race. We hope the format will make for a good screen show with some interesting photos and video at the Elk's lodge following the finish. There will also be music playing and a costume contest at Elk's -- Winner gets Makana Ali'i paddle.

Manny, Went to http://mkulukul.wufoo.com/forms/m7x3w7/ to sign up for the hollween race but couldnt enter my information. The page wouldnt allow me to type in any info. Any sugestions?

Worked for me just a few minutes ago. I'm using WinXP and IE7.

When I clicked any of the boxes, the area changed red/orange and a cursur appeared in the box allowing me to type my info. From there I could just hit the Tab key and move to the next box and so forth.
