The guys on Kauai could have been doing this also. But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, they had to go and ruin it for everyone else.

Hey watersledder, are there many outrigger paddlers up in Halifax? I've been contemplating a job up there and curious what the paddling community is like.

Hey Anowara,
There is a huge flatwater paddling community here, but not much in outrigger yet. We have around 8 surfskis and OC-1's in the area. A few flatwater guys have done the Molokai from here, and we have just got an OC-6, so it will grow. The paddling can be real fun around here. Where are you now?
Jibofo,
Not sure what speed the ferry does, it seems to change depending who is driving. I would guess around 8 knots or so. Sometimes it's too slow, and sometimes too fast, but mostly it just about right for a fun ride.

I'm in central NY finishing up grad school. That's awesome you all have an OC-6 up there, Halifax just got a lot more attractive!

We only wear those to keep warm, right now the air and water are below 50 degrees.
