Got a call from Mel Pu'u that there is a tsunami warning facing all Hawaiian waters due to the earthquake in Samoa earlier today...He told me that there is extreme tides and currents from 12:00 to 9:00 pm tonight...Stay safe gang...

I remember years ago there was a similar warning, of course we all went down to the point at Lanikai. Bunch of guys paddled out to Flat Island and waited. Eventually everyone got tired of waiting and went home.

Same thing happened to surfers today here... hehehe ! They don't learn anything in school ? They still believe a tsunami is a huge wall of water travelling accross the ocean...
