Unreal conditions for this weekend's Wavechaser Race HMB

Wow, just checking to see if this race will actually go off. The Surf Forecast for Mavericks is 30-40' waves. Will they actually run this race, if so, could be awesome for racers. I hear they run in almost any conditions in this series. Hope somebody takes pictures and video.
I've copied the marine forecast for this Saturday. Good luck to all the racers and of course to the race oganizer.

Recieved an email from a local racer. Race is on. Apparently the Wavechaser Series has a good relationship with local authorities and their confidence in providing safety at each event. I did not realize that this series has been around for over 8 years. Pretty impressive to be allowed to go out in those type of condition. I could only imagine what they would say in SoCal. Their "authorities" shut down races when there is 15k winds and 5' swells.
Good luck to all and hope there is a write up on the race with pictures and hopefully video.

Make that 10K wind and 2' swell for SoCal ... Or even a heavy morning haze.
