Hi All
Visiting Oahu in January. I know it is a nutty time of year with your island being invaded by so many tourists. Hoping to perhaps hire a canoe to enter the Holiday Burnoff Pa'a race on Jan 8, but mostly would love some advice regarding suggestions of places to stay on the North Shore. I have heard there are a lot of places that dont have a web site and there doesnt seem to be many that do have a web site. I was keen to stay near Sunset Beach but anywhere reasonably cheap and clean between Haleiwa and Turtle Bay would be ideal. If anyone could suggest a hotel or hostel or if you know someone with a room or appartment for rent for 2 or 3 weeks, please message me! I will be on my own with my paddle and my boards.

Think Malaekahana - Ville on Oahu North Shore. Best place for stay and for do one Haleiwa run.
ps: watch out for the sneaker sets during the winter, even if you think you stay outside the surf.
