My friend Kendall Struxness is in this film, he has stage 4 cancer and did the entire voyage. Kendall is still hanging in there. We can't wait until the film is released!

Speaking of the film's release, anyone know when that's supposed to be? I had contacted Soul Fabric Films (the company that filmed it) sometime last winter and it sounded like it was going to appear sometime this summer at a festival. Can't wait to see it…

soul fabric needed some more footage to complete the film, They were in Kauai not long ago getting what they needed. Hopefully it will be out very soon, as a member of the final leg it was one of the most powerful experiences of my life. This Voyage specifically for Kendal who was involved with every voyage. It is the paddling worlds equivalent to the first assent of Everest. I will not go as far as to say it will never be done again, But in all likely hood it won't. I encourage anyone that ever has a chance to do something of this magnitude to make it happen.

Kendall is in California where he was admitted into a clinical trial. As you would expect he has a lot of fight in him. I am going out there next week to spend a few days with him. Keep your prayers coming.
