If you want to dig a little deeper for cool colors check this link and look up complementary colors. For starters colors opposite of the wheel (red-green, blue-yellow) always work well, or "complement" each other.

I like white for the hull, easier to get a good match when you have to fix dings and scratches...
I alsolike red, orange and yellow for they are easy to spot on the water from distance (security).

Orange,purple and white, or an all white hull with a Polynesian tattoo design winding around it or pale blue with ablack bar code running along the hull or the coolest of the lot is still my Pueo, thanks again to the artist that painted it
