Totally agree. All terrific. Danny deserves it as does Lauren(who didn't get to train much at all as well as Andrea) and Kai is crazy but driven to do it without training and Jane is an animal- good for her!!! All in all a great race and congrats to all who finished!!

I'd like to say this was a victory for California paddlers, but the truth is Danny did this all on his own. There is no one out here who can really push him, which makes his win all the more remarkable. He has worked very hard for a very long time, and deserves to savor this one.
