I think there's alot of waha going on about proper names and words n' such. If you are pure and respectful in your heart when referring to such things as a halau or a long house, it doesn't really matter what the actual word is.I hear all these haoles up here say "imua" all the time and I never heard anyone say that once in my over 25 ohcra regatta seasons. I would prefer that they simply refrain from stepping over the Wa'a all the time than say any words at all. But that is just my opinion.

I guess Kamehameha Schools had it all wrong when they wrote IMUA on their scrimmage jerseys for all those years in football. That's what I mean, it's really just a matter of opinion. Figure it out.

KoaCanoe: I dont know bro Jim has a mainland number. So he could be just saying stuff knowing that this guy Keahua cant get to him. I dont want to get in the middle of this but, that is kind of a typical mainland move. Am I wrong?

Keahua: Thanks for taking down your post, being the bigger man. And you probably are the bigger man in real life. HEHE.

Who's area code is 425?

Pardon me, but I was merely sharing my opinion when the guy got all hostile. I realize it was stupid to respond to his comments that way, but I'm only human.
