Has there been any word on the two crews paddling from Oahu to Kauai today?

Does anyone read this blog site any more?
Well, I was hoping for someone to post the crew names and any stories from this feat of paddle-mania.
It's evident, kimohanalei's mind is "blown." But, is that because of this event or is that just his mind's natural state?
And, I'd like to thank byronbaypaddler for his "congratulations", and his brevity.
Well, I made a few phone calls and the Coast Guard out of Nawiliwili did not rescue any paddling crews this week.
So, I assume they made it.
Now, I call to the OC Paddler web site Kahuna himself, Keizo, (if he can tear himself away from being a canoe building/selling capitalist) and maybe give one of his buddies a call at the prestigious Kaiola Canoe Club on Kauai, and get the dirt on what went down.

At the time I made my comment, I was at a loss for words to describe our journey.
Here is a link to the Kaiola website with some initial pictures of the voyage: http://www.kaiolacc.com/KAIOLACC/Voyages.html Also a Pepe story of the trip.

My Mind.........Is still Blown

Thanks kimohanalei, I spoke with a crew member and heard about the great ocean conditions, but I never imagined the conditions were that nice. I never saw that channel as calm as it is in those pictures.

Congratulations, and MY MIND IS BLOWN.......

Eh! The pickchas show almost the same kind water conditions when I rode Seaflite from Honolulu Harbor to Nawiliwili. Nobody try block us then too. Too flat for me, but should be a blast back to Oahu on a strong westerly day?

Hopefully this crossing will get people talking about holding a race across the channel. It almost happened in the late 70's. I still have a copy of the race poster, $10,000 first prize.

I've been away too long.
Missed Molo' and now this!
Good motivator to get back in the saddle.

How much time where you guys mid-channel with no sight of land?
