First posting and I’d like to mahalo Keizo, this site and the paddling community for keeping the path of the wa’a vibrant and growing here in the islands and globally. I‘d like to share that a whole new dimension of sailing OC1 and OC2 is easily available to all now. Created and well tested here on Kaua’i, a hand held sail that allows your body to complete the form of the sail and get you in direct connect with the wind. You can turn any OC into a sailing craft with the simplest modification of sticking on 2 leash plugs slightly bigger than quarters onto the deck. Its fun in a breeze, then full on the edge downwind surfing when it starts to blow. Canoe sailing is a natural evolution and something anyone can add to their quiver of water skills now. Check it out.
