I've heard it called Microcell, Minicell, minicel. Whatever brand you get it should be closed-cell foam. Thickness should be no less than 3 inches and most use/sell 4 inch thickness for their seats.

I bought a 4 inch x 16 inch x 24 inch block for my used Mantra a year or so ago from Huki.com.

Fiberglass Hawaii also sells it in a 4 inch x 4 foot x 6 foot block which is where they probably get their foam from as well.

Sorry Hank, I actually normally do try to answer the phone on Sundays but couldn't today. It's 4" polyolefin foam. We could send you out a new seat Express mail on Tuesday, which will still be cheaper than a sheet of foam.

I wonder which cell phones or carrier works best out in the middle of the Channel?

My escort boat captain who's been escorting for something like 20 years swears AT&T has the best reception in the channel. It doesn't cover the entire Ka'iwi but it comes the closest.

Verizon works the best. You can get calls at Kaluakoi when other carriers cannot.
