Thanks guys, has there been any thought about compiling all the footage into a DVD? I for one would be keen to order it...! And can you shoot next years one in HiDef and 3D? Thanks .....

Dvd will be out mid November. There will be a 60 minute television special.

Fantastic job!!! Thanks a lot for such an awesome live coverage!
Just as a suggestion for the DVD editing, I think it'd be nicer if we could see more time of teams paddling ( a few changes) instead of so much short clips as it has been the format in the past. As Keali Miller said during the race, Ocean Paddler receives a lot of enquiries to sell footage from the Top Tahitian teams so the strokes/changes/pace/etc. can be analysed.
Personally, I'd love to buy a DVD with the most amount of time showing Shell Va'a displaying their fantastic form...

This is great, The rebroadcast really works well. As a paddler, I can review the course, conditions etc. It builds excitement and we can show family and friends who just don't understand the obsession. The announcers were great.
It would be great to have a Tahitian announcer too, who could give us a scoop of their teams-in English please. or maybe both.
