I know this has been addressed before, but I can't locate the post. I have a Thule base rack and a boat carrier, but I'm looking for a good ama carrier as well to get it out of my car ;> Is there a commercially available ama carrier that fits Thule bars or does everyone just use the foam blocks and tie downs?

Contact JD Davis at Waterwalker, he builds a nice set of ama holders (small, medium and large, depending on your ama) that'll fit your Thule racks.

p3 kona has one its called the ama carrier. it attaches to your racks. inexpensive also. heres the link
