Is there any central place to find out about the off-season OC-6 races in Hawai`i? We have a lot of people who don't do long distance, but are game for the shorter five to ten mile 'fun' races. We find out about 'em word of mouth, but it would be nice if we could actually plan ahead!
(So we're in for the Wounded Warrior race, and I think a crew is doing Master Blaster, but I know there are more out there that I can't find ... )

I think so too. The idea is a great one the only thing is that lot of the oc6's are club owned and the sad thing is no matter what clubs would like to participates it always comes down to a liability issue. The only way is to do it is on a oneman which not everyone can afford to buy $$$$. I totally agree a fun race is always the best to, it definitly keeps the paddlers hungry for more......
I'll keep looking for it to and post any race i hear about. we also do oneman fun runs to if you have one.
