Anyone used a spray skirt on an Aukahi before?
I'd be interested in purchasing or attempting to making one. Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

trash bag works good, just duck tape the edges. or you can find a spray skirt from a k-1

I saw a note on facebook from Hawaiian Canoe Canvas that they were thinking about doing one. You might want to check with them.

Years ago I had a Sea Lion built by Dee Van Winkle. It was a cockpit style OC-1 and came with a kayak type spray skirt that was attached to the hull/cockpit area with velcro. I don't know who manufactured the spray skirts for him. Maybe somebody in San Diego area might know?

knowing Dee he probably stitched it himself in 30 minutes left handed while on a break from packing his 50 cal rounds for his sniper rifle in his backyard.

Yo vance, rei has a sale right now on Seals spray skirts, I almost bought one jus cuz was good price, but did not have specs. They are designed for kayak, would need to test to see if works well for aukahi. It has storage compartments etc. Sale price around $50.

Aukahi cockpit is 46"x15.5", the seal skirt is 47"x27", so would not be a good match unless altered.
