I'm interested on getting some feedback on the ECLIPSE OC1 made by S.I.C. on Maui. Has anyone paddled these canoes? How are they?, etc. Thanks!

Have not heard about the success of his OC-1's. But I will say that Mark's downwind SUP boards are top notch. I would have to imagine his OC's are high quality as well.

Its a good starting canoe for general recreation. If you're looking to paddle competitively, do downwind runs, etc., you should opt for something else (e.g. Hurricane, Pegasus, Scorpius, etc.). Look what most other folks are paddling out there and you won't see very many Eclipses out there. In other words, you will probably outgrow it quickly.
