Thanks for yours RacePace, While they're appreciated, comments aren't the reason I post the videos, exposure and promotion of Ocean Racing is the main motivation for spending hours editing instead of padding.... I'd have given up long ago if I were doing this for egoistical reasons... Passion Rules
Apart from the personal satisfaction of shooting and producing videos of the sports i love, the biggest kick is when someone new to the sport approaches me in person and thanks me for a video that inspired them to pickup a paddle and give it a try. Or a sponsor approaches me and say's how pleased they are to be associated with the video. Or a race director from another country walks up and asks can i do their next event. All of these things happened last weekend at the race.
My father once told me to follow my passion, then everything else will fall in place.... it just took me over 50years to find it...haha. Now if only i can find some time to pick up a paddle again myself. ....best i go watch a video.
