How to repair Edge chips and dings

I have a Mana blade similar in build to a Makana Ali'i.
How can I repair minor pressure dings and chips on edge of the blade?

I'm doing something similar. I haven't started yet, but I would guess that some epoxy on the chips and edges would help. I'm very new to repairing paddles, so take my advice with a big helping of salt.

I would mix up the epoxy, apply some painters tape to one side of the ding you want to fill in. Fill in with the mixed epoxy, and fill up the chip as best as you can. Fold over the tape so that the epoxy will follow the shape of the edge. After it dries you can sand and varnish.

@lilrabbit129 thanks for taking the time to reply, I will try your method. I am repairing my dbl bend Mana Blade.

I picked up a new Mana Blade from Brad ( PaddleMe sports) at the Santa barbara Sprints, I actually added a couple more layers of Marine Spar Varnish to it so the finish will last. it turned out great, no dings so far and I like the feel of it.

I like all wood paddles like my 1st blade Kioloa Wiley all i had to do was sand and varnish.. but it is like stroking with an iron pipe compared to Mana blade.

I will post pictures of the process once i start.
Thanks again,
Mahalo
