Hey just wondering if there is anyone that has a K-1 in kona that i could borrow? or if someone has a surfski sitting around that wouldn't mind lending it out.

These sorts of requests laregely appear to go unanswered on OCP...
while most returning Mainland and Pacific Rim paddlers travelling to HI have hook ups for this sort of thing - what's the best way for someone like Kai to get on the water if he's travelling to a new island or is a first timer?
contact a local canoe club? local Oc-1manufacturer? lurk at the beach with paddle in hand? ( this doesnt work BTW...)

Go to the Keahou Canoe Club and ask for George Abood. He has a couple of skis. Tell him you are a friend of mine.
