A couple of weeks ago at practice (Hui Lanakila) a guy shows up with a spray painted paddle that was a makana alii. He didn't realize that gav, or member made makana alii paddles. Gav confronted him and asked where he got it and he said he found it. Gav was going take it then but the guy had no paddle so he told him after practice I'll take it to fine who it belongs too. So as we are paddling out the Ala Wai, before bowls, the guy jumps out of the boat as it's moving and swims to sore and runs off. Anyone losse a double bend Makana alii?

About six months ago, my wife bought a used paddle from Goodwill (including cover). It is a Xylo Blade and I hope it wasn't stolen? If the paddle is good and donated legally, thank you, for it is a very fine paddle. If not, describe and furnish number and we'll give it back to you. We hate to be accused of stealing it. Mahalo

Shame for maybe stealing paddle. Funny in some ways.
This guy is dumb for stealing paddle
But smart enough to figure out a few things. It took him 5 minutes to figure out what would probably happen to him after Hui Lanakila practice-have you seen the size of some of the Hui Lanakila paddlers. They also have some serious/fierce looks.
However not too smart, because as soon as he jumped out of canoe-he proved he did something wrong.

Everyone show up at Anuenue's and find him and do what ever and get the paddle back.
