I'm visiting my son in Florida and his Fenn 4 adjustable paddle is STUCK. I need to change angle and length. Gonna be here for two weeks and really want to keep paddling...any tricks? ( I;m afraid to break something on the paddle)

Sounds like the clamp is fully loose and it's the carbon that has seized together? You may be able to draw some insight from bike mechanics, unsticking seat posts from frames is a much-discussed topic on web pages and blogs, harris cyclery's late Sheldon Brown wrote a good one: http://sheldonbrown.com/stuck-seatposts.html
