I just noticed that the Paa Winter Series has OC6 categories for six of the races (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Toys for Tots, Holiday Burnoff, Pinky's, and Luv 2morrow). Is this new - or have I just been oblivious? It sounds like a fun series for our recreation-season paddlers to get involved with.

Yep, they had that category last year too. It was fun to enter random crews and also an opportunity for the few non-spec canoes around.

Could not get a contact email to ask a question.....will there be a set aside area at Kaimana for trailers to carry 400lb. OC6's ? Makes a big difference as far as ability or should I say convenience of participation with a standard OC6. lucky guys with the under 200 lbs. can truck top. Any info. appreciated.

No. Most people that entered last year just paddled to magic island after the race. They staged their trailer there, or were entrants from clubs on the ala wai (Hui Lanakila, Beachboys).
