Hi guys, is the ZRE, all carbon paddle, a good paddle, for long distance in Hawaiian waters, wind an all. If not which do you recommend?

It's an alright lightweight paddle, but in windy conditions, you want to have a bit of weight to control or else you might end up hitting your gunwales or even your ama.
When it's windy, I prefer to use a wood/hybrid such as my Pure Paddle, Mana Blade or Kialoa Axel II. They have just the right swing weight whether it's windy or not.
I always bring an all carbon and a wood/hybrid and strap the one I don't use on the rear iako. That way I can always change according to my needs.
