it feels pretty good to me in the surf. I think that it's about 20 1/2 feet, so its a little shorter than some boats and it helps to fit in the trough better.

The August 2010 Pacific Paddler Magazine has an advert (pg 35) and the December 2010 issue has a blurb about it (pg 31). The advert shows it with the Ma'a Afi ama, but the blurb has the much smaller ama made for it.
