Scorpius XM seat

I just picked up a Scorpius XM and am trying to adjust to the seat. I'm a shorter paddler (5'4") so I'm having to place the seat as far forward as possible but i'm still not sitting "in" the seat. I'm sitting more on the front of the seat and my calves are resting on the front of the foam (front end of the rectangular cut out).

I'm used to having a little bend in the knees and wondered if anyone had recs to help where I sit on the seat. Anyone who has an XM that has the same issues?

You can cut the watersystem part of the seat off and move it up so you feel comfortable with your leg extension. Call the dealer (Tom at (808) 6520406 is easy to reach) and they can explain what to do. Do that first before you cut the seat.

Is it a Hawaii or China made XM? I know there's a difference in the seat configurations.

Where do you live?. Easy to exchange the seat with the shop for one that fits you better. Call them- they are happy to help if you haven't cut the seat.

I called Tom today and sent him the seat. He's going to have one made for my size and get it back to me. Great customer service!
