New to the site, new to paddling in general. Started last march with OC6 and OC1's and got hooked. Tried steering and loved it, although I didn't race last season I've paddled and cross-trained non-stop for this season's Novice B. I've been putting as much time possible on the water, trying to gain knowledge and skills. Although I have gotten some small kine instruction/coaching I am looking for more. I've read and reread and still read The Art of Steering. Watch any kine video I can find on steering or paddling in general, talk story and ask questions.......want more. :)
So my question is do any clubs/steersman hold seminars or courses for steering on any of the islands?

get a rudderlessand and surf down wind in it.
that is how you get good at steering.
